Today, I remember my 9th Great-grandfather, Samuel Sanford. He was born on 30 April 1643 in Milford, New Haven Colony (Now Connecticut). He died on 27 November 1691 in Connecticut Colony.

Today, I remember my 4th Great-grandfather, Asa Taft. He was born on 29 April 1774 in Uxbridge, Worcester, Massachusetts Colony.

Asa married Sarah Whitney on 18 September 1794 in Peru, Berkshire County, Massachusetts. After Sarah died in 1813, Asa married Lucy Fuller in Triangle, Broome County New York. Asa may have married a third time, to Lucy Wilson, sometime after 1825.

He died on 17 March 1839 in Triangle, Broome County, New York and was buried in the Taft Cemetery in Triangle.

Today, I also remember my 6th great-grandfather, Stephen Taft. He was the second ancestor born on 16 April. Stephen was born in 1710 in Uxbridge[1], Province of Massachusetts Bay (Now Worcester County, Massachusetts). Stephen married Mary Lewis on 27 March 1733 in Uxbridge. I believe they had 10 children including my 5th great-grandfather Silas Taft. Stephen died on 3 February 1803 in Uxbridge. (His burial details are unknown.)

Today, I remember my 7th great-grandfather, Samuel Wolcott. He is the son of Samuel Wolcott whose birthday was last Monday.. He was born on 13 April 1713 in Wethersfield, Hartford, Connecticut Colony. Samuel married Mary Wyatt on 11 March 1735 in Connecticut Colony. He died on 11 April 1800 in Hartford County, Connecticut and was buried at Wethersfield Village Cemetery.

Today, I remember my 8th great-grandfather Samuel Wolcott. He was born on 11 April 1676 in Wethersfield Hartford County, Connecticut. Samuel married Abaigail Collins on 27 December 1705. Captain Wolcott commanded a company during the French and Indian Wars. He died on 15 September 1734 at the age of 58, in Wethersfield, Connecticut Colony, and is buried at Wethersfield Village Cemetery.
